Many things vary in size, whether they are manmade or natural. There are dogs so small they look like rodents, and on the other hand, ones so big they could be mistaken for a bear. There are small, personal pizzas for one person and extra-large pizzas to feed an entire party. Some things are meant to be extra large, others are supposed to be tiny. What is funny, though, is when something that someone normally would not expect to be large, is huge. It's kind of odd, but kind of interesting, as well.

Someone might call these everyday objects and common creatures that grew to be too large an 'absolute unit'. This was Internet slang that grew in popularity, and now everyone kind of understand what it means. This can happen to anything, from a small plant to a giant bear. Sometimes, things might even become a bit intimidating when they are blown up in size.
