The future is now, but it is also a decade from now. Things are changing so insanely quickly these days that it's hard to keep up with everything new. The quick advancement of technology is interesting, but also kind of scary. There are pieces of technology out there that couldn't have even been thought of 50 years ago. While this is cool to think about, it makes predicting the future way more difficult. There's no saying what might happen in a few years.
Back in the day, people had some odd ideas about what the future might look like. People have made many predictions about the future, some of which have come true, and others are still waiting to come to fruition. From car prototypes to art of life in outer space, some people had some amazing ideas of the future.
Take a minute to see a collection of images portraying and highlighting what people in the past thought that the modern days would look like.
