No one can put every person into one group; generalizing a whole lot of people is usually not great. Some things, though, are too true to argue with. It's pretty commonly known that Americans are very patriotic, which is fine, that's a big part of their personalities. Most Americans love America and all it has to offer. Everyone should be able to love the place they live, but some people go a bit far with the opinions they have and the things they say.

This patriotism becomes a problem when people start to insult other countries or make up insane, false claims to make their country seem way better than all of the others. It is hard to say whether or not many of these comments are true thoughts or just jokes, that's how crazy they get. Knowing what goes on in the world, though, it's likely many of them are genuine.
