There are so many distractions in kids' lives in this day and age. Pairing an already short attention span with the amount of technology and entertainment out there makes it troubling for adults to get kids' attention. As technology and devices become more ingrained into the lives of kids, teachers need to find new ways to connect with their students on a personal level and get them away from their devices and onto learning.
