Plenty of people all around the globe take on various DIY projects for all kinds of reasons. DIY projects can be fun and creative or they can be plain frustrating. Some folks like to save some money by avoiding hiring a professional and just fixing something themselves. Some people like to boost their confidence by proving their skills. Some people just like to challenge themselves in some way, or add some individuality to their home.

There are various levels to DIY projects, though. Some are more harmless, like decorations and fashion, others take more skill, like home improvements. People need to take caution when attempting to DIY something serious. There is a reason professionals exist. Not just anyone can do anything first try, no matter how many tutorials they watch.

People who try doing things without the proper training could end up creating a DIY fail. DIY failures and failed projects aren't only a waste of time and money, but they are embarrassing and tacky, too. In some sense, though, they are pretty hilarious to see.
