Restaurants don't serve food on normal plates anymore, those days are long gone. These days, normal dishes are becoming obsolete, and they are instead being replaced by strange items being played off as plates and bowls. It's an odd phenomenon that seems to be occurring in the more fancy, hipster, and posh restaurants around the globe. It's fine for restaurants to want to be different, and stand out from the rest, sometimes enough is enough.

People just want plates. Ridiculous plating methods come in many forms. From slabs of wood topped with everything from a sandwich to bacon and runny eggs or ice cream, to tacos and bacon strips being hung by clothespins, these restaurants have no limits when it comes to what they're going to serve food on.
