This week on the internet, NBA player Klay Thompson allegedly sent a cease and desist letter to a TikToker for his Eggs After 11 edits, a one-off real estate fish from SpongeBob captured the hearts of the internet and the math equation "7×7=49" was deemed "attractive," giving men a whole new fear.

Here are five of the biggest memes and trends of the week that you need to catch up on before the weekend hits.

7×7=49

First up, we have the math equation "7×7=49," which is apparently really attractive and has absolutely no problems stealing your girl.

Memes about the equation blew up on TikTok at the start of April 2026, thanks to TikToker @heartzz.kyra, who posted a video showing off subjects that women apparently find attractive for reasons other than their physical attractiveness.

Among these subjects is the equation 7×7=49, an inclusion that baffled many viewers. Apparently, the idea of math equations being attractive is unfathomable to a lot of people.

The video gained tens of millions of views and quickly spread online. It inspired a ton of memes this past week about the equation stealing hearts, including comedy skits where women leave their boyfriends for the equation.

It also inspired a lot of stress for men, who feel like they already have a hard enough time competing for the attention of women. Good luck, fellas.

Incidental 49A / Real Estate Fish Stan Edits

A one-off real estate saleswoman fish from a 1999 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants has become a big TikTok meme for some reason, and her name is Incidental 49a.

Incidental 49a appears in the episode "Opposite Day," in which she's led to believe that she's going to sell a house, but instead gets caught up in SpongeBob and Patrick's shenanigans as they pretend to be Squidward.

This ultimately leaves her frustrated and results in her storming out of the house without making a sale in what's become a pretty classic and memorable scene.

Edits of Incidental 49a, named like that because it's the way the show's writers name many one-off characters, started popping up as far back as February 2026. But they had a big surge in popularity in the past week or so, with many of the edits joking about how SpongeBob and Patrick "broke" her and caused her to have a terrible day.

A lot of people seem to vibe with Incidental 49a, seeing her as a hardworking boss lady who's been messed with one too many times. Here's hoping she's sold some big properties since the Squidward incident.

All week on TikTok, edits based on a joke from Ted season two about eating eggs after 11 a.m. being gay have been going viral on the app. These edits begin with the Ted scene, where Matty Bennett explains why eating eggs after 11 is gay, followed by Klay Thompson highlights.

Thompson, for those who don't know, plays under the number 11. The edits make this connection a silly and immature way of calling Thompson gay.

After the original edit blew up, it inspired the TikToker, as well as other TikTokers, to make similar edits that begin with gay jokes from TV shows, followed by Thompson highlights.

Now, Thompson's legal team has allegedly sent the originator of the trend a cease and desist letter. Instead of respecting that letter, though, the creator has doubled down and started adding the letter to his edits.

It's a bold move, especially for the sake of a gay joke, but watching it all unfold is undeniably fascinating.

Finally, the cast of the reality TV series Summer House is embroiled in some big drama and now "Carl's a mess," which might not mean anything to you, but it means a whole lot to Kyle Cooke.

Kyle Cooke, of course, is one of the stars of Summer House, and he's at the center of the meme and the controversy. Basically, Cooke got divorced from his wife, Amanda Batula, in January.
