"Welcome to BP brother" is based on a comment left by TikToker Jaidenanimationsgooner on or around June 22nd, 2026, the day that it was screenshotted and reposted by TikToker @bubba4090 to over 450,000 views in about a week. The comment was posted with a spooky GIF of Cristiano Ronaldo smiling creepily.
Although it's unclear what video the comment was posted under, it's been determined to mean, "welcome to black pill brother."
The "black pill" or "blackpill" is an idea in meme culture that describes something that, when learned about, gives you a nihilistic perception of life and forces you to see reality from a more fatalist perspective.
In the case of looksmaxxing and incel culture, the black pill is often described as the realization that good looks and attraction are the most important thing regarding success in not just dating, but life in general.
So, the phrase, "welcome to BP brother," is essentially used to acknowledge that someone has been blackpilled and welcome them to their new life.

The phrase "Welcome to BP brother" blew up on TikTok in late June 2026 following the post by TikToker @bubba4090.
It inspired a wave of comedy skits in which a man explains being rejected or having a bad stroke of luck in romance, followed by another person welcoming him to BP.
