Remember all those Among Us memes in the early 2020s? Well, there's a new one going viral, and it comes to us from the man behind the "Hello, Is This the Imposter From Among Us?" memes.
The meme is known as, "Hello, It's Me Crewmate," and it's become the subject of everything from lip dubs to animations and more in April 2026.
But where does the meme come from, and how exactly is it being used online? Here's what we know.
What Is The 'Hello, It's Me Crewmate' Meme?
The "It's Me Crewmate" video comes from YouTuber Elisocray, a content creator perhaps best known for his viral, "Hello, Is This the Imposter from Among Us" video, a "3AM Challenge" video that saw him call an imposter and have an absurd conversation with it.
For those who don't know, an imposter is a player in the video game Among Us who is secretly trying to eliminate the other players on the map without being figured out.
Just like the 2021 video, the "It's Me Crewmate" video sees Elisocray call up a green crewmate from Among Us. The crewmate immediately goes on a long rant describing its role in the game and trying to figure out whether Elisocray is an imposter.
The original upload seems to have been taken down, but early reuploads popped up online in April 2021. Then, in April 2026, TikToker @lastboybreathing set the audio to footage from the anime series Gachiakuta, inspiring a meme trend.

How Is 'Hello, It's Me Crewmate' Used In Memes?
The video has inspired a variety of memes on TikTok in April 2026, including a lip-dub trend, animations and meme edits.
As a lip-dub trend, TikTokers are using the audio alongside captions about being awkward during conversations or specific events. The stilted, strange audio of the crewmate is used to comedically represent the user's awkwardness.
Beyond that, some people are making original animations depicting a Crewmate or other character saying the lines. Other prominent memes include recreations of the audio in Among Us, edits that place the audio over anime scenes and Accuracy Reenactments that recreate Elisocray's video.
