Almost everybody has fallen victim to oversharing something at one point or another. Sometimes things come out that were not necessarily intended to be voiced out loud. Whether it is something said to fill a silence, a desperate attempt to relate to someone else or just pure absentminded and carelessness, it can be embarrassing depending on what it is and what the reactions to it are. Luckily, it is more than likely forgotten eventually.

Online, however, word vomit is slightly more unforgivable, because on the internet, there are many chances to not make a comment before the comment is actually put out into the world. Why they do it is unknown, probably for attention, maybe to make someone mad.

On Reddit's /r/NobodyAsked, the embarrassing and cringeworthy accounts of people oversharing online are recorded and kept forever, for all to see and make fun of. Here are 15 moments of comments that nobody asked for. Always think twice before hitting "send."
