"Facepalm" is a term you probably haven't heard in a while. Frequently associated with the early 2010s, this term was used to express our disbelief and frustration at something idiotic said or done by someone around us.
It's also the inspiration for a subreddit, fittingly called "Facepalm." Here, Redditors share the dumbest things they've stumbled across online, and honestly, some of them are seriously impressive, because no matter how hard we try, no rational person could recreate some of these.
There's no sense of real, understandable logic inherent within these points people have made online, as you'll soon see, and it's almost an art form. These social media posts express some of the worst parts of living in a society, because our world is apparently so broken that these things had to be said, even if those things are completely nonsensical.
Here are some of our favorites from the popular subreddit.
