15 Fake Stories Made Up By Online Liars
.jpg)
In general, lying is frowned upon. It's something that is taught very early on. As people get older, sometimes lying becomes necessary in certain situations, for whatever reason. Honesty is still probably the best policy though, especially for people who are just bad at lying. The only thing worse than lying itself is getting caught in that lie because of how terribly it was told. This happens a lot on the internet. Some people pretend that lying online is a sport, they see how much they can get away with it.
Because Reddit's /r/thatHappened exists, though, these liars get exposed pretty quickly. The title "that happened" is a sarcastic one, because the stories found in there definitely did not happen, not by any stretch. They were made so that the poster would feel better about themselves, gain some attention or push some agenda, there is just no way they are genuine. They are usually super cringeworthy as well, which makes it so much worse. Here are 15 people who are so obviously lying online with these bad stories.
