15 People 'Humblebragging' In The Most Annoying Ways

There is this odd thing that some people do, and it's super annoying. It's called a humblebrag. Humble bragging is when someone makes a casual, self-deprecating or demeaning comment about themselves but it's actually meant to draw attention to them or some part of their life. For example, there are people who complain about how hard it is to be smart, or how the more money they have the more problems they have, or how terrible it is that they only ever date models. It's a really strange thing these people do, and it's so clear they do it on purpose.

People can often be found humblebragging online about their lives, and many of these moments get documented and shared to Reddit's /r/humblebrag, of course. This subreddit is a cringeworthy one, but it is so worth it to see how delusional or insane some of these folks are. Here are 15 embarrassing times people humblebragged about their lives, and they were so obvious about it.

Oh well!

3mo ago They all went to pride in LA one year. The only one I wanred to see, was Laurel... and I didn't! I seem most of the cast there. In fact, I went to a rooftop party. Where my friends and I, made ourselves convertible in a covered booth... that had strawberries, champagne, etc., just to see Liesha walking towards us. That was her VIP couch. Oh well... Just another life story. B L

Long attention span/focused 1 year old K katherineE2222 Sep 23, 2023 at 9:23 AM My one year old seems to be able to focus more than than the average 1 year old. Can sit and play with toys. Loves stacking blocks, playing with a farm toy he recently got (plays with it literally everyday. He does demonstrate joint attention. Smiles(but not just when you look at him) says a few words, walks, claps and waves. He's a great eater and feeds himself. He will eat almost anything. He is very social in public and seems to love people. He doesn't love to snuggle and he never has. reaches arms up to be picked up and carried. Does not mind being rocked to sleep but has never been cuddly. He gives hugs to mom and dad. He is only pointing with whole hand. My parents always say he's a genius (partially as a joke haha) and are impressed with his ability to play and focus on a task. Why do I feel concerned and worried and anxious that these things are abnormal? (Focus, attention span, hand pointing, ability to play alone at times so young, not a snuggler, sometimes seems more serious than other babies) Like Reply

The highest score they have ever seen

2:30 ... r/iuoe 824.17d Apprenticeship entrance test + Join So I recently did paperwork and took an aptitude test and scored 98% I found out I had the highest score the local has ever had.. which kinda rubbed me the wrong ways since I didn't really try and answered and never studied. Anyway I was accepted and start September for my apprenticeship and currently still working nuke until I get my first job with union. Should I be concerned that I had the highest score? Is it not normal for people score well? Just curious. They also said average is 88-90%. ↑ 6 ↓ 7 ↑ Share

Mortgages on SEVERAL properties

GUN GUY How is a student loan different from any other loan? I have mortgages on several properties, a payment for my wife's new car, and a business loan. I signed for the loans. I took the money. I must pay the money back. That's how it works. The idea of asking anybody for debt forgiveness never has and never would occur to me. Maybe I missed something by not getting a college education.

This whole thing is insane

O น r/Advice u/abolotnov 5m How do I rationalize a car purchase? I make $370k a year, no debt, ~$700k in equity (not bragging, it's not much anyway), driving 2015 car with ~140k miles on it, trying to get another car (we need a second one for the family) but struggling to justify a ~$40k car because it feels like I am not at the right financial level to afford it. I kinda feel like it's an ok purchase but at the same time feel like I am just not rich enough for it and will have insane buyer's remorse for the rest of my life after I bough it. I need another car because I am letting my son keep the car we use now and we just need another car for three of us to get places but torn apart between getting a nice one or getting a junky one good enough that won't die on a highway. Is there a way to mentally justify a decent (used) car and not end up buying an old Toyota that will take me places, but I will never truly enjoy? I don't want anything crazy, but I want my brain to calm down for God's sake for once, how do I do it? :(( Sorry, I feel very stupid and mentally ill. Vote 1 ↑ Share +Award

He would know

← Replies I spent my 20s having girlfriends and dating multi women. Now at 31 I have came to the conclusion that having a family with a good woman is the better option, if I had to pick only one. That is exactly what I'm doing. The KEY with the one woman option is she HAS to be traditionally minded and happy to be a mother. Now I just have to focus on making money. My sexual needs and social needs are met. Dating multiple women comes with problems because they all want to be in a relationship eventually. Having multiple women who love you at the same time just breeds problems and hurt. I would know. 3 ☑ j Add a reply... Yea good luck finding a Unicorn. B ☑ :
