Many people like to claim there's fake news everywhere, and while those claims have been exaggerated to some extent, there's also some truth to them — especially when it comes to news that's meant to be wholly fake simply for the sake of good entertainment.

This is where sites like The Onion come in, producing satire articles that create a great parody of the world we've come to inhabit, and while they're meant to look like real news articles, they're not intended to be taken seriously.
