Simple and blunt answers get right to the point and are generally helpful, but they're often not very fun. When someone asks a question, whether it be online or in person, a certain kind of response is expected. Something that answers and provides insight.

Some folks, though, like to change it up, flip the script and provide a more witty and silly approach. Are these answers much help? Maybe not so much. But they are a whole lot funnier than what would be normally expected.

People who say things that are technically the truth are something we're unable to argue with. It's not like they have said anything wrong. It just isn't something anyone else thought of.

Honestly, they are just smarter than the rest of the world because they know how to get around things and find loopholes. Reddit's /r/technicallythetruth is a subreddit that provides accounts of times people were technically right. Maybe not totally conventionally right, but who is going to argue with these excellent and smart answers? Here are 22 statements that are surprisingly true.
