After four and a half long months, our national nightmare is over and NBA basketball is back on TV — and not a moment too soon, with the WNBA season having just wrapped up, baseball's World Series starting this weekend, and every NFL team except the Chiefs seemingly in some level of disarray.

Heading into the 2024-2025 season, the biggest story centers around the three minutes NBA prospect Bronny James played alongside his dad, LeBron James. There's also the Celtics looking as primed as any team to repeat as champions, the Eastern Conference's top teams looking to encroach on the Celtics dominance, and the Oklahoma City Thunder making a leap to the top of the West on paper, but all of that is small change compared to the Lakers second-round pick appearing on the court with LeBron, judging by media coverage.
