Pigeons are known for many things: their amazing homing ability, which humans relied upon for centuries to send messages over large distances, their unique adaptability to urban environments, and them being symbols of peace, love and devotion. What they are not known for is the ability to build nests: these makeshift homes are known to be quite simplistic, flimsy and even hazardous to pigeons and their offspring.
