It's been nearly 15 years since the infamous message "Don't Dead Open Inside" appeared on the door in the opening episode of The Walking Dead episode, the message that would go on to become the recognized name for the entire genre of ill-thought-out posters and signs that could be read in more ways than one.

Despite hundreds upon hundreds of photographs of these designs being circulated online, it doesn't look like the lesson here is making any real impact, as more examples of these hilariously confusing writings continue to arrive every year.

As long as graphic design remains someone's passion, we can rest assured that this noble tradition will not be going anywhere.
