We have a lot of fun debating food online. Is Hawaiian pizza good or bad? Is a hot dog a sandwich? These are merely humorous discussions where we can pretend to get really passionate about innocuous opinions over food.

However, we can surely all agree that there is a limit to just how far one can take the concept of pizza. "Pizza" is, in its platonic form, sauce and cheese baked over a thin crust. Some savory toppings may be added for extra flavor, and perhaps some vegetables as well.

This is the social covenant we all agree to when we enter this world, and it is our solemn duty to uphold it until we pass away.

There are some who would spit in the face of this covenant, gleefully making abominations under the good "pizza" name and then posting the results online.

The solemn duty of the subreddit "Pizza Crime" is to document and immortalize these crimes, creating a testament to the horrors humanity is capable of if left unchecked.

These horrors range from unholy toppings, abominable pizza shapes and cooking disasters obliterating all that once was good from pizza.
