Dating apps have been around for a long time now, but that doesn't mean people enjoy them all the time. The online dating scene started off with simple websites but has evolved into this somewhat shallow game of "hot or not" for far too many folks.

With a simple swipe, someone can meet the love of their life or have a somewhat mentally scarring conversation, it's really just a big gamble. People, unfortunately, also tend to be creepier behind a screen. The pickup lines are just getting worse, and people are definitely getting bolder.

That's not to say online dating is all bad though, some people have truly found "the one" through apps like Bumble and that is amazing. It does take a whole lot of searching, though.

Reddit's /r/Bumble is a subreddit made for single users of the app Bumble to share their best and worst experiences on the app. A lot of these exchanges are extremely cringeworthy, but there are a couple of wholesome ones in there to restore some faith in humanity.
