The future is now, but it's also 10 years from now. In this day and age, everything is changing and evolving so quickly that it can be a little difficult to keep up with it all. Technology is advancing faster than ever before which is both amazing and kind of scary. There are some pieces of technology that would have never even been imagined 50 or so years ago. This is an interesting fact but it also makes it more difficult to predict what the next 50 years will look like. At this point, anything is possible.

Back in the day, some people had some pretty crazy ideas for the future. People have always liked predicting the future, whether it's someone drawing a concept photo of what the world might look like or building a prototype for future technology to take over. People have interesting ways of thinking about the future. There are some classic things people thought would exist, like virtual reality and smartphones, but other ideas were very out there.

The Internet has eternalized many images of what people thought the world would look like now. Here is a collection of 24 of those ideas and illustrations most people will find intriguing and maybe a little familiar.
