The way the major cities in the US look today is not what they have always looked like. Over the decades things have changed a whole lot in the world. Technology has advanced, buildings have been built and cities have expanded greatly. This means that the way major cities look today is far different than what they looked like even just 40 or 50 years ago. Time changes quickly and dramatically, and it's pretty interesting to see how much everything has changed.

The huge skyscrapers across New York were once never there. All of the hustle and bustle in Vegas was once nonexistent. The malls, beaches, and other places that draw a crowd now were once barren and empty. It's pretty crazy to think about how quickly things change.

There are plenty of photos of what these major cities and more looked like back in the day. Here we have collected 25 images of cities and towns from before they appear today.
