Things have changed a lot over the decades, and with every passing year comes a lot of new advancements and changes in society. Absolutely everything, from trends to technology to fashion to music, changes as the years pass. The vibes are different now, too. Things felt a bit more chill back then, in the photos, anyway. While decades like the '60s, '70s, and '80s were not all that long ago, when comparing photos from back then to now, things might seem totally foreign.

People love going to concerts; they always have and hopefully always will. While people still enjoy going to concerts, indoors and outdoors, festivals and tours, the appearance of these performances has changed. The fashion has changed, of course. There will always be new fashion trends and fads to adhere to. The way people got tickets, traveled, and spent time, and the music itself have also changed.

Every concert-goer in the modern era has some jealousy for the people who got to see classic concerts of the past. This is for a good reason, too; concerts looked pretty cool back then. For some real nostalgia from the past, here are 24 photos from concerts and concert culture in the mid and late 1900s.
