Everything changes with time. Not only the simple things like music, fashion, trends, and the media, but education, knowledge, and ideas evolve as well. Over time, people have come to learn more about science, safety, and the world in general. There are quite a number of ideas and items in the past that, looking back on them now, seem pretty crazy for someone to have come up with. Of course, people got by, but it is funny to think of these things as being normal at one time.

Time is an odd concept, and practices are changing constantly. Times should keep improving, right? It's hard to say what might be in store in the future.

Everything that existed back then remains online, though, which means the world will never forget what people thought was acceptable in the past. Here are 24 images of things people did back in the day that seem a little odd now.
