There is nothing more simultaneously satisfying and infuriating than something that is just technically the truth. A technical truth is something that doesn't seem quite right, but no one can argue with it because it definitely isn't wrong. They are the kinds of things that are filled with sarcasm and puns, dad joke humor, but still are very accurate.

A technical truth can be a statement someone has come up with, it can be a meme, or it can be an answer to a question someone asked, which is arguably the best kind. They are unexpected and fun, which is nice because usually the truth isn't that much fun.

People love technical truths so much that there is a whole subreddit dedicated to them. Reddit's "Technically the Truth" is a subreddit made for people who are spitting nothing but the facts out here.

Here are 24 things that are technically not wrong, but also were not what was expected at all.
