In general, it isn't accurate to generalize a whole group of people. Everyone is different, and, therefore, everybody has different opinions.

There is one cliché, though, that seems to be too true to ignore. Everyone knows that Americans have some insane ideas and things to say (much like anywhere else). Americans love their country, which is fine, but does it get to a point where it's taken too far?

All people deserve to love where they come from and spread that pride. Americans are particularly patriotic, though, and some of them seem to come up with some wild thoughts and assumptions about their own country and the rest of the world because of it.

Whether it's believing that America rules the whole world or that Europe is basically barren, these people have a whole lot to say but not a lot to actually relay.

Reddit is a place where people can go to share all of these insane comments and cringeworthy points Americans have made online. Here are just 25 of them that left some people at a total loss.
