25 Delusional People Posting On LinkedIn

There are many places online to find people spewing nonsense all day, that's like, a big part of the internet. While some places harbor that sort of content, others are not supposed to. However, one of the most professional places online has become a disaster over the years. LinkedIn is a site made for working professionals to connect with each other. It is also for CEOs and companies to post updates and accomplishments. The site also, of course, has job listings. This all seems very serious, so what's with all the insanity on it?

The bizarre, fake posts, the lifestyle that's promoted, and the content being posted are nothing short of wild. This has become so common that there is even a subreddit for exposing these people. Reddit's /r/LinkedInLunatics is a subreddit that showcases just what goes down on this site, for those who don't frequent it. Here are 25 examples that might shock some people.

Did this really happen…

h + An HR recruiter had reached out to me. They wanted to offer me a job. I disclosed my salary in good faith. HR yelled at me and offered me 40% less than what I was getting paid. I politely declined. HR got fired 3 months later. 1K Q41 14 ✓ 5

Why on LinkedIn?

Gurpreet Singh Moffar • 3rd+ Head Sales & Marketing at FMCG MNC 6h. + Follow A rich man walked into a bar and found a black woman standing in a corner. He approached the bar, took out his wallet and shouted, "Bartender, I'll buy drinks for everyone in the bar except the black woman." Instead of feeling worried, the woman looked at the man and said, "Thank you." This angered the rich man. He took out his wallet again and said, “This time, waiter, I'll buy extra bottles of wine and food for everyone in the bar except the black woman." Instead of feeling worried, the woman looked at the man and said, "Thank you." This angered the man. He asked the waiter, "Why is this woman thanking me?" He told him, “She's the owner of the restaurant."

Wow, so nice of you, Chad

Chad Holdorf • 2nd VP of Product Demandbase | Enterprise SaaS 1d → • + Follow Yesterday, I interviewed a candidate and asked, "Why should we hire you over anyone else?" Their initial response was just okay. So, I paused and asked if they'd like to answer again. They gratefully accepted. The second attempt? Perfect. I told them their answer was amazing. Interviewing is challenging. Like many, I've hung up and replayed interviews in my head for weeks, thinking about how I could have answered questions better. That's why I now offer candidates a second chance. It's a simple gesture that can make a world of difference. CC 438 37 comments • 2 reposts Like Comment Leave your thoughts here... Repost Send Post

Even though I can give them all the support they need to succeed... Even though I try and give them the motivation to push themselves... They'll still just be okay. But they won't be bad enough to let go. These employees cost me more than a bad one does in the long run. Beware the mediocre. Patrick McGibney +1. I help self-employed IT-experts, with focus on SAP and Mi... Ihre Serviceleistungen anzeigen 8 Std. ⚫ → When you cant squat more than 100kg, your business is never going to make more than 100k revenue Ever thought about how lifting heavy weights and lifting your business to new heights are connected? Recently I was hitting the gym, must have been Tuesday - since as you can see, leg day! Squats. Heavy Squats. Used to do more. But I am getting old ;) "Please put your Weights back when you FINISH". Finish? Finish with what? Life, Business, ... is this a Video Game? I am never finished! I was not finished, when I became a Freelancer. I was not finished, when I founded my first business. I was not finished, when I scaled my company group internationally. I was not finished, when I sold my previous companies. Mindset. I was raised like that. Different "wood" than most others. I like people, who do not talk much in the gym - instead, lift. Same goes for business: I like entrepreneurs who actually "do", and not only talk about it. My theory is, that if you traiin for years and can not squat (I mean REAL SQUAT) over 100kg - you are doing something very wrong. And if you run your business for years, and cant get over 100k a month - then you are doing something very wrong. So, if you cant squat 100kg - you will not make 100k monthly, period. Prove me wrong. #FitnessAndBusiness #Discipline #Goal Setting #Resilience #Mindset #Success # 100kg #100k
