DIY projects are great for some things, but not so much for others. Most people have likely tried their hand at a DIY project at some point by now. Whether it was a tacky decoration, a quick fix for something broken, or maybe some piece of clothing or accessory, everyone has made something before. The fun thing about DIY-ing something is that it will be unique, but that doesn't always mean it will be good.

Some DIY projects come out looking a little questionable, resulting in a DIY fail, and there are some projects that really should just be left to the professionals. Reddit's /r/DIWhy is a subreddit that collects and exposes all of the failed or questionable DIY projects out there. These have been completed by someone with a lot of ambition, but maybe not enough talent to match. Here are 25 of them that are just a little odd.
