It's cool to look back at old photos from the past to see what life was like back then. While the first commercially successful color process came out around 1907, color photography was not common until the '60s and '70s. This means that there are a whole lot of historical photos in black and white. While it's cool to see the original black-and-white photos of events and people, it's interesting to think about how color would change it. With advanced technology and skilled people, there are now tons of historical photos being colorized. It's fun to see things from back in time in color. It makes it feel more real and personal, somehow.

Reddit's /r/colorizedhistory is a subreddit filled with historical, traditionally black-and-white photos made colorful. There are photos from all time periods, all places, and all events in this subreddit. Take a deep dive into the past and rediscover some icons and moments in color.
