One of the most frustrating processes right now is the job search process. Looking for a job in this current state of affairs is infuriating, but unfortunately, many people are going through it. Finding a job isn't what it used to be. At one point, someone could walk into a business and hand in a resumé like it was no big deal. Most of the time, they would even get a callback. These days it is all done online, which might sound easier and more efficient, but it has just introduced a whole new set of problems.

Online applications always seem to be a million miles long. Not only do they take hours to get through, but lots of the time the hiring managers expect some sort of free work on top of several interviews. It takes months just to be considered. This isn't even to mention the fact that so many people are ghosted by recruiters now, which is just absurd. It seems like every company is hiring but no one is actually being hired. It's a strange world and a frustrating time out there.

Reddit users going through this have taken it upon themselves to share the worst experiences they have had while finding a new job. It's like a form of therapy for them, in a way. Here are 25 awfully infuriating moments from people who just want a new job.
