25 Humblebraggers With The Most Difficult Lives

Some people just have the most difficult lives ever and they want everyone to know that. The only catch is that their lives actually aren't that hard, honestly. They are usually better off than most and just want to appear super humble. This is called humblebragging. It's when someone posts commenting on something modest, self-deprecating or critical to draw attention to their admirable traits.

For example, someone is so beautiful that they get asked out all the time, which is just so frustrating for them. Or someone who is just so smart that they don't fit in with the rest of their peers. Humblebragging is usually pretty easy to spot and it's crazy that they think they are fooling anyone. No one likes a humblebragger which is why they are exposed on Reddit's /r/humblebrag constantly. The lives of the people featured on this site are just so hard, no one else would understand. Here are 25 of them being so humble.

Why are they all seducing me?

Are people being approached romantically by tour guides a lot? back in June I was on a trip to Malaysia where a tour guide was very much interested in me and made a move on me. More recently I've been on a trip to Greece and during a boat tour while we were getting off an island the tour guide there also made a pass at me/made a move on me. I'm just wondering have any of you ladies experienced the same or know people that have? Is this quite common with tour guides trying to seduce tourists? What's been your experiences?

My kid is just way too smart

I am struggling! My 2 year old daughter is meeting 4 year old milestones+. I'm having a hard time finding kids to play with her... She's so advanced and wants to play with older kids, but none of them have been nice or friendly. My daughter is extremely well- mannered and is a big sharer. I don't want her to be around mean kids, but those who want to play and share in all the amazing things life has to offer. My daughter know her alphabet in and out of order, can count up to 30 (a couple are skipped) and backwards from 10, she knows all her shapes and colors, she says 6+ word sentences and sings full songs, she reads board books by herself (memorized: I'm sure), and we are working on spelling as she spells her own name and daddy. She really needs someone at her own mental capacity but can also show her how to play with others. Every time she tries talking to other kids, they all yell at her or leave her or just don't talk yet. I'm at a loss. I would love to schedule play dates with like-minded people, but this has been a struggle. If anyone has good, kind kids who are at her mental capacity, I'd love to schedule a playdate... Thanks! Must be so hard

u/ Preschooler math Child 4-9 Years My child turned 4 years old a few months ago and has picked up multiplication and can solve problems like "you go fishing and catch 5 fish every hour and are fishing for 2 hours. How many fish do you catch?". I see that fingers go up when I ask such questions and the start of memorizing 2×2, 3×2, etc because I keep asking these questions. I gave the kid a calculator, which is now used for fun. We were playing and now talked about exponents too, well at least squares and cubes, which also appears to have been successfully absorbed. We talked about this stuff using fruits like apples and oranges so I know there is a concrete understanding of these concepts. We've only basically touched division and subtraction. I plan to introduce them as the reverse of adding and multiplying when i sense boredom with adding and multiplying. It was all fun and games but I'm kicking myself a little now. Is this normal? I don't remember doing any of this stuff till I was much older. I want a normal regular childhood for my kid. For clarity, we don't do this stuff all the time. Maybe once a week or once every 2-3 weeks numbers/math seems to be picked up quickly/ easily. We do like counting random things though. PIC COLLAGE

Must be so frustrating

8:06 ib r/rant u/raddavo 12h I dislike when people say "You're so talented" Whilst playing guitar in public i often hear the misguided compliment 'You're so talented'. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the intent behind it, but for 20 years of guitar playing really i should be much better. It doesn't make sense to comment on someones natural ability when you dont know how long they have been doing somthing. Jimi Hendrix played guitar for only 12 years! There are 5 year old asian kids on YouTube that can play better than me for christs sake. Really if any human without some sort of handicap played the amount of time i have i imagine they would outshred me. It just frustrating when poeple say that. Thats all 57 42 ↑ Share +

What?

So far on my 100 rejections, I've only had 2 rejections. Come onnnn, I need some more. What wild, 'out there' ideas can I try to get some more rejections? E Approved/Rejected Approved Approved Rejected Approved Approved Approved Rejected Approved Approved 0+ Feb 9 This year I've been inspired by @mrlockyer to collect 100 rejections. The idea being that you put yourself out there and apply to the "never in a million years" opportunities and see what happens. I'm 4/100, and annoyingly haven't collected a single rejection yet.

Blessed

You know, sometimes I wish I was using my college degrees. All that hard work and effort not really being utilized. Long hours, 20+ page research papers, obtaining hard to get archaeology internships, and all of that. But then when I'm riding a camel in the desert next to the pyramids, backpacking across Europe, doing waterfall hikes in Hawaii, and trying to decide which villa I want to rent in Bali, I realize that this is my dream life. * I just bought the car of my dreams * I live in one of the most beautiful mountain towns in the country (that isn't incredibly packed like Jackson or Aspen) * I have 3-4 months off every year * I get to travel the world and actually see the things I've spent so much time studying * I have amazing coworkers and friends across the world I couldn't ask for a better life than this +7
