25 Kodachrome Photos Capturing The Past In Colour
Every decade that passes contains its own unique memories and moments that people enjoy looking back on. Things have changed a whole lot over the past few decades, and life in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s looks nothing like society does now. A major characteristic of the past is that many images from history are seen in black and white. Colour imaging wasn't seen until the mid-1900s, but when it became popular, it changed the world forever.
Colour imaging was not very common yet in the 1940s, resulting in millions of black and white photos online. With Kodachrome emerging, though, photos began emerging and being developed in full colour, so that people could remember moments for exactly what they were, and to see exactly how they looked.
Instead of seeing the old black and white photos, take the time to revisit the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, and so on, in colour. These images, captured on film, reveal some small moments, major events, and other interesting parts of life and the news.
