25 Kodachrome Photos Of The Past In Colour
Each and every decade contains its own memories and moments that people look back on and remember. Things have changed a whole lot over the past few decades, and life in the 1940s looks nothing like society does now. A major characteristic of the past is that many images from the past are seen in black and white. Colour imaging wasn't seen until the mid-1900s, but when it was created, it was beautiful.
Color imaging was not very common yet in the 1940s, resulting in millions of black and white photos online. With the release of Kodachrome, colour film, in 1935, people began to take photos in colour. This was revolutionary, and because of it much of the 1940s and 1950s were seen in colour.
Rather than seeing life in black and white, take a moment to see some images from the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, and so on, in full colour. From images of everyday life to days at the amusement park, there is so much online to see and admire.
