People aren't being served food and meals on normal plates anymore. Regular dishes are becoming obsolete, and odd excuses for dishes are replacing them. It's a strange phenomenon that seems to be occurring in the more fancy, hipster, and so-called millennial restaurants around America. Every restaurant wants to be different, which is great, but sometimes the creativity crosses a line, into a realm of insanity.

People just want plates. Ridiculous plating methods come in many forms. From slabs of wood topped with everything from a sandwich to bacon and runny eggs or ice cream, to tacos and bacon strips being hung by clothespins, these restaurants have no limits when it comes to what they're going to serve food on.
