There are some people who just should not be giving out advice, like ever. Some people online feel like they are qualified to give out some pretty bad advice to fix some very serious problems. Bad advice litters the web in all kinds of ways. People have to take these small tidbits of advice with several grains of salt. The people who suggest them usually don't know what they are talking about.
