The internet is chock-full of information. Some of it is true, and some of it is hilariously false. It's usually up to us to distinguish between what's true and what's a fabrication, and it's generally fairly difficult online, depending on where you get your source of information. You can still find plenty of verifiable information, especially with fact-checkers now integrated into most social media websites.
Although sometimes you're presented with a piece of information that is technically correct but also conveys a completely wrong message, this is where Reddit's /r/technicallythetruth comes in. This is a subreddit dedicated to whole truths that, while technically true, don't provide much insight. These are statements that miss the point of what was being said entirely, with nuances going straight over the original poster's head, usually resulting in some hilariously candid social media posts. This collection has some of the most honest and accurate information you can probably find, while also being entirely wrong.
