Restaurants aren't serving food on regular dishes anymore. Normal dishes are becoming obsolete, and they are instead being replaced by odd excuses for dishes. It's a strange phenomenon that seems to be occurring in the more fancy, hipster, and so-called "millennial restaurants" around the world. It's fun when restaurants try to do something new, but sometimes people just want plates.

Ridiculous plating methods come in many forms and styles. From slabs of wood with everything from a basic sandwich to bacon and runny eggs falling off of them, to pasta being served in a shovel, or tacos being hung on a clothesline. There is no saying how a meal might come out when visiting one of these new restaurants.
