Everyone puts images online for a different reason. Millions of photos are posted online every single day and they are all a little different than one another. Some people like to share memories, some people like to share information, and some people just like to post chaotically. Context is generally pretty important when considering photos and imagery. Context lets people know what is going on in a photo and why. However, without context, photos become a little more than that, they become a sort of modern art. Sometimes, the photo tells the whole story and other times there are question left unanswered. Some images don't need an explanation, they are their own kind of spectacle.

Context-free photos are all over the web, and they can be fun to come across because of how odd they are. While they may be odd, they are also fun to decipher and decode. These images are purely for entertainment and shock value, sometimes cuteness value, too. It's a mystery as to what might pop up here, but they are worth the view just for the weirdness of it all.

Here is a collection of 25 photos we have discovered online that just… exist. There is no rhyme or reason to them and there are no explanations as to how they occurred, but they are fun to see and think about.
