25 Self-Proclaimed 'Geniuses' Who Clearly Aren't That Smart

There are some people out there who believe they are the geniuses of the world. These people think they are just so much better than the vast majority of people because of how smart they are. It's good to want to learn things and expand your mind, but it gets to a point where it's just cringeworthy. It becomes cringeworthy when it's all a person can talk about. When they correct everything everyone says, when they feel the need to tell the world their IQ, when they diminish other people and talk about how dumb everyone else is just to make themselves seem better. That's when it gets bad, and it happens a lot.

Reddit's /r/iamverysmart is a subreddit that features and exposes all of these self-proclaimed "geniuses" for being insanely cringeworthy for how they act. Here are 25 screenshots from people who are too smart for this world, spreading their unasked-for knowledge with all of the internet.

Champion of the spelling bees

10 hours ago (edited) I will request you to look up what the definition of what a "dude" is before you recklessly fling verbal slang at a stranger like that. I was reading college level by the time I reached the second grade. On top of that, I was championing the spelling bee's as well. I know quite well what the definitions in the encyclopedias were long before even the Internet was even introduced to the masses. While I agree that democracy is the mechanism, you obviously need to revisit your grade school education and look up the fact that our founding fathers identified us as a "Republic". Show less Reply

Watch out, IQ of 143

Yeah, he kinda is. I dare you to try stealing one of the hundreds of things he did including planes/cars/hundreds of thousands all around the world, I bet you get caught before you even get inside oh and the fact that he was literally a child makes him 10000 x even more of a genius. My I.Q is 143(above average) and I barely got away with sneaking extra snacks from my grandma at the same age as Colton >

They can't afford me

This proves that propresenter took the wrong approach to programming the media files list display and cache. They should maintain an indexed cache that is paged, sorted according to a default view. A background task to maintain a predictive display of media should maintain the index during periods of inactivity after initial indexing activity. Paging through media choices should only load what is used or what the user can see when searching for content. I could fix this for issue for them, but they can't afford me. I've done countless big data nosql indexed caches like this and they are lightning

The -ing battle

ago Ing is poison suffix. Not necessary. Suffix ing is future tense. A particle of negation. Over fifty percent of English speach contains oxymorons. But there is a mathematical interface on grammar. So at least we have a choice to speak and write with continual tense, after all we are continual people just like the rest of nature's lifeforms. 164

He's deviating alright

Demonstrably false, on the first count. The second may be true, but the occupational nonsense is silly. There aren't 100 million female doctors and lawyers on the PLANET. If you want to pick a fight, though - I'm always game. I'm an Engineer and Entrepreneur, former child prodigy, with an IQ 3 std devs right of the median. I've met 3 people in my life whose intellect "towered over" my own - 1 was a billionaire, the other two were fairly obscure nobel laureates. Guy's post is funny - chuckle and move on.

Everyone is just so dumb

16 m + I can recall this clearly. I always knew I was above average intelligence, finishing at the top of classes in school, but I never thought of myself as extremely intelligent until social media came along. It literally causes me great fear to learn how dumb the geneal population is, driving 2 ton death machines on the same roads as I do, having weapons easily available to purchase (there should be a test involved for intelligence to obtain them), etc. It often baffles me how people survive daily ☑

Someone's mad

Enviado por há 11 horas 53 I hate how people talk is ad People are just f J parrots. It's absolutely infuriating how people just spout out the same s nauseum, nobody has any ounce of care for originality or creativity. This phrase, " CRAZY!!" or "is WILD, bro." makes me want to drive through the front window of a convenience store. Why? The most mundane sin the world, that is mildly humorous is somehow "crazy" or "wild"? F you. F everyone and most of all, fi Tiktok for how much influence it has over people's vocabulary. 49 Comentários Compartilhar ☐ Salvar

Whole lot of yapping

20h I think that because I really am a master and subconsciously have a very strong soul and spirit that just tries to be the best at what I can do and the arguing is because I often get into arguments with others because they just don't get on with me that well, because I usually think of myself as a master in a situation and maybe it also logically stands for my conflict that I have with myself. Because my high IQ sometimes really gives me the Replies Q 1 20h problem of whether I should listen more to my mind, which is connected to my high IQ, or should I rely on things that are not logical like philosophy and spirituality, i.e. what my heart or my seventh sense tells me...

It's always quantum mechanics

month ago I don't know what my IQ is. I work in a small town at a gas station on graveyard shift. I'm certainly far more intelligent than most of my coworkers. They can barely count change and I have a basic understanding of quantum mechanics, relativity and pretty much most sciences including computer science. I do enjoy the night shift, being alone. And yet I still have to interact with my coworkers and customers. Dark Humor is a good way to navigate encounters. I admit I do find entertainment in playing little games with people. Slight of hand or simple psychological tricks all in fun. Show less 32 7 Reply

This is about beef jerky

6y I wish I could get this across without sounding like a jerk, but here goes anyway: Your question asks if your teeth will fall out sooner than people who don't. That is, will your teeth fall out sooner, or will people who don't fall out sooner? You're actually asking if people will fall out sooner. You never mentioned the teeth of those people. What you probably mean is "If I eat beef jerky every single day, will my teeth fall out sooner than the teeth of people who don't eat beef jerky every single day?" As you wrote your question, there is no possible answer. Reply 1 OP.6y You are correct, but you still sound like a jerk. It's cool tho this post is about JERKY... now I'm the jerk :( 1

Fear him

There are some niche parts of mathematical physics where I am very very good. For instance, PDE usage in quantum mechanics and E&M theory. People were crying when going over the quantum harmonic oscillator solution. I thought it was pretry easy using ladder operators. So when I look at the basoc physics on the Mcat I quickly realized that doctors don't really know any physics at all. Ο A Text Message A Cash

To be in high school again…

That right there, is why I left Reddit. I'm a literal genius, top 2% of my generation. according to federal testing, left high school 2 years early and Bright Flighted my way into KU's chemical engineering program with an ACT score of 34. I was banned from r/science while citing the NIH. 5:22 AM ⚫ Aug 13, 2023 3,266 Views • 1 Quote 23 Likes 2 Bookmarks

90% 2:52 PM Who else has aphantasia? I think a lot of people who have adhd have it. 2-3% of people can't visualise I'm a 1. But most people see 6. How do you visualise? 1. Close your eyes 2. Imagine a red square 3. Open your eyes. Which number best represents what you saw in your 'mind's eye'? 1 3 4 5 6 4 Like Comment Source: http://www.reddit.com/r/Aphantasia/comments/am/Bfxx/ 69 comments Send I went to a 10... My red square became a 3D cube, and I had the ability to pick it up and turn it around and examine it from all sides. I could probably even find the corresponding hex code to go with the specific shade of red, if I had the time... But then again, I preferred books to movies as a kid, and now I enjoy LSD when life starts getting too hard. Like Reply Write an answer... 10
