'Tis the season for everything creepy and crawly, spooky and cursed. This time of the year is a favorite for many — the leaves change color, the air is cooler and things are a little more mysterious. There is nothing to dislike about fall. While this season brings around everything scary, the truth is that there are spooky things in the world year-round. While it may not seem like it sometimes, there are little horrors and creepy scenes in everyday life; it just takes a little observation. Sometimes, things that aren't meant to be scary even become scary.

Reddit's /r/oddlyterrifying is a subreddit for things that are terrifying in a sort of confusing way. They tend to be normal items and things in nature that happen to be creepy for some reason. Maybe time has taken its toll on an old toy, or something was left in a way to make it seem unnerving. There are tons of creepy things out there in the world, here are just 25 of them to celebrate the start of this spooky season.
