It's perfectly fine for memes to be reposted and shared all around the internet. That's exactly what they're for. The trouble begins when people take memes and put their own "funny" spin or twist on them.

Doing this never seems to end well for the meme in question. Memes get taken, both good and bad ones, and get unnecessary captions, pictures and emojis added to them that just make them objectively so much worse.
