Tons of people all around the globe take on DIY projects for many reasons. DIY projects can be fun and creative, or they can be plain frustrating and difficult. Some folks like to save money by avoiding hiring a professional and fixing the issue themselves. Some people like to boost their confidence by proving they can do things. Some people just like to challenge themselves in some way, or add some individuality and creativity to their home. There are various levels to DIY projects, though. Some projects are more harmless, like making fashion pieces or decorations, while others take more skill, like home improvements or renovations. People need to take caution when attempting to DIY something serious.

There is a reason why professionals exist in society. Not just anyone can do anything on the first try, no matter how many tutorials they watch online. People who try doing things without the proper training could end up creating an embarrassing DIY fail. DIY failures and failed projects aren't only a waste of time and money, but they are embarrassing and kind of tacky, too. In some sense, though, they are pretty hilarious to see.
