There is nothing wrong with wanting to be an intelligent person. Pursuing higher education and degrees, doing personal research and finding niches are all good things to do. What isn't okay is when people flaunt their knowledge all over the web, letting everyone know just how high their IQs are and how dumb everyone else is. It's so cringeworthy to randomly see someone chime in about their intelligence where it wasn't even asked about or relevant at all. It's clearly a cry for attention in the worst way possible. These geniuses aren't shy about sharing their experiences of being so smart, it's what they live for.

Reddit's /r/iamverysmart is a subreddit made for people to share and expose all of the people they see bragging about their intelligence online. It's a pretty cringeworthy subreddit to scroll through, with lots of head-shaking and sighing to be done. So here are 26 self-proclaimed geniuses letting the world know how smart they really are. Chances are a lot of it is lies.
