Getting a job is not easy these days. It isn't as simple as handing in a resumé anymore. For the most part, applying to jobs is done online through sites like Indeed and LinkedIn. This is meant to make the process easier, but it actually seems to make it so much worse. Now, every job has thousands of applicants within minutes and every application process takes hours of work to complete. Even worse, when that part is done, most of the time the companies are ghosting people, and people are never hearing back after putting in so much effort. It seems like everyone is hiring, but no one is being hired. Something strange is going on in the recruiting world and it's leaving a lot of people with a lot of headaches.

Reddit's /r/recruitingh*** is a subreddit where people can share the worst things they have seen or experienced while looking for a job. It's a way for people to feel less alone about the whole thing because it's rough out there. Here are 28 infuriating images and relatable memes from people who just want to be employed.
