Cooking and baking are skills not everyone has. Everyone, at some point, needs to learn the basics, though. Eventually, everyone will be in a place where they need to make something either for themselves or for someone else.

To help out with that, there are online recipes. Online recipes are lifesavers for so many people. Whether they are college kids on their own for the first time or someone who signed up for a potluck, online recipes are amazing.

Even with these simple, easy-to-follow recipes, though, some people still manage to mess up. This is apparent when reading the reviews for recipes. People totally out themselves for the terrible chefs they are. They admit to not following the steps, making insane alterations, and even judging the recipe just by the name without even trying it.

These are the kinds of people who not only should never be allowed to review things ever again, but they also should stay far away from the kitchen.

Here are 28 wild recipe reviews that prove the ratings aren't always accurate.
