Everyone went through that time in life when they were just so angsty and full of emotion, it's part of growing up. Along with that came those super "deep" and inspirational posts to share that seemed to explain everything. At that age, they seem so motivational and revolutionary, but in reality, they are honestly just shallow and cringeworthy.

This is not a phase that has ended for all people. People still share these seemingly deep posts and quotes with the hope of inspiring someone and showing other people how intellectual and different they are from the rest of the world. The only other groups of people, besides 14-year-olds, who tend to enjoy this kind of content are older Baby Boomers, specifically the ones who hate technology and the younger generation.

Reddit's very deeply inspiring subreddit /r/im14andthisisdeep, is a place where all of these kinds of posts are shared. It's obviously a sarcastically titled subreddit, as the main point of it is to mock and cringe at the content found there. Here are 30 posts, quotes and images some people found truly life-changing.
