Experience History In Color Through 25 Vintage Kodachrome Photos

There are so many moments from every decade to look back on and remember, and many of them have been captured on film. Things have changed a whole lot over the past few decades, and life in the 1940s and 1950s looked way different from now. A major characteristic of the past is that many images from the past are seen in black and white. Color imaging wasn't seen until the mid-1900s, but when it was created, it was beautiful.
Color images and film was not yet very common in the 1940s, resulting in much of history being seen in black and white. With Kodachrome, though, released in 1935, people began to document their lives in color. This was revolutionary and left a mark on the world.
Instead of seeing the old black and white photos, take the time to revisit the 1940s and 1950s in complete color. These moments of everyday life capture some of life's smallest, yet most interesting moments that many people can relate to, all in beautiful color.
