How Shrinkflation Is Affecting Popular Products
By now, most have realized that things are getting more expensive, but they aren't getting any bigger. It's not a secret, but companies are trying to be sneaky about it, anyway. It's a pretty annoying practice companies are doing that people are referring to as "shrinkflation". Shrinkflation can be seen anywhere and everywhere, and despite the discreet nature of it, people have noticed, and many are not impressed by it.
The once full boxes of candy and cookies are getting smaller and even missing entire rows. Bags of chips are more air than food by now, and even things like toothpaste tubes, wrapping paper, and other household necessities are less full and more diluted. Everyone is fed up with paying more money for less product, which is why folks have begun to expose the insanity when they see and notice it in their own households.
This collection of images showcases just a handful of companies and products that are guilty of shrinkflating their items. It's an infuriating thing to see and notice, and society is tired of it.
