Each and every decade contains its own memories and moments that people look back on and remember. Things have changed a whole lot over the past few decades, and life in the 1940s looks nothing like society does now. One major element of decades like the 1940s and prior is that these decades are mainly seen in black and white. Sometimes, people want to see these moments in color.
Color imaging was not very common yet in the 1940s, resulting in millions of black and white photos online. With the release of Kodachrome, color film, in 1935, people began to take photos in color. This was revolutionary and made for some truly interesting images that are even impressive to see now.
Instead of seeing the old black and white photos, take the time to revisit the 1940s in complete color. These moments of everyday life capture some of life's smallest, yet most interesting moments that many people can relate to, all in beautiful color.
