There is a lot of work, time, and money that goes into making and finishing a film or a movie. Whether it be an animated movie for kids, an action movie, a romance, or anything else, all films have a lot of work behind them. There are so many small moments that make a film that so many people don't know or see. Sometimes, funny things happen behind-the-scenes that don't get shown, sometimes interesting references are made or easter eggs are left for observant people to find.
The small moments in a film are interesting, and it takes quite the sleuth to figure them out. These small movie details bring a lot of life to a film, and they are very eye-opening to learn and realize. Small movie details could be anything from a mistake no one noticed in editing to a comment that broke the fourth wall; it's impressive when someone finds these things.

Interstellar, 2014
For Interstellar, Christopher Nolan planted 500 acres of corn just for the film because he did not want to CGI the farm in. After filming, he turned it around and sold the corn and made back profit for the budget.

In American Psycho (2000) Willem Dafoe (Detective Kimball) acted each meeting with Bateman 3 ways in 3 different takes: 1. He knew Bateman was the killer, 2. He only suspected Bateman was the killer, 3. He did not suspect Bateman. These clips were later spliced together to keep the audience guessing.

In Troy (2004), Brad Pitt and Eric Bana did not use stunt doubles for their epic duel. They made a gentleman's agreement to pay for every accidental hit. $50 for each light hit, $100 for each hard blow. Pitt ended up paying Bana $750. Bana didn't owe Pitt anything.

In Rogue One (2016), Red, Gold and Blue squadron attack Scarif, where Blue Squadron is destroyed, leaving them unavailable for the events in Star Wars.
